Professional Makeup Courses
MASTER MAKEUP CLASS 101
(5 weeks) Basic to Advanced Makeup Course.
his basic to advanced makeup course is designed for both beginners and those who want to take the makeup artist profession seriously. At FaceArt Academy, you will receive a certificate accredited by the academy, and we will guide you every step of the way to achieve your goals. You will learn a wide variety of makeup techniques, taught by our Master Artist. In addition, our small class sizes ensure personalized attention from FaceArt Academy's highly trained instructors, guaranteeing that you get the most out of your training.
PRO BRIDES
(2 Days) Advanced Bridal Makeup Specialization.
This course is exclusively designed for professionals who want to specialize in bridal makeup, a service that requires a completely different approach compared to social makeup. You will learn advanced techniques, the proper use of specific products, and the necessary procedures to achieve a flawless finish, ideal for enhancing the beauty of brides on their special day.
AIRBRUSHING
Prerequisite: CLASS 101 or certification from a valid institution.
Airbrush makeup is one of the most widely used techniques for digital photography and for those working in film and TV: it provides a natural, smooth finish with high coverage and long-lasting wear. If your goal is to work with brides, this will be your best tool to make them look flawless. This class will cover the basics of airbrush makeup, in addition to teaching the body tanning technique, as well as equipment care and maintenance.
SHADING TECHNIQUE
(16 Hours).
This makeup class will focus solely on one area of the face (EYES). You will learn how to enhance the eyes, make corrections, define eyebrows, apply strip and individual false lashes, as well as how to blend and combine eyeshadows. You should bring your work kit; if you don't have the tools, you can purchase them at the time of registration (please check with the advisor).
PHOTOGRAPHY AND RUNWAY
(16 Hours) Intermediate and Advanced Level.
One of the most productive areas within the makeup industry is its application for fashion shows and photography. In this class, you will have the opportunity to learn how to create different looks based on the location, develop the skill of working with photographers, designers, and models, as well as how to promote your business.
FANTASY
Day 1
This should not be confused with special effects makeup. Fantasy makeup is based on the free expression of our imagination. It allows us to step away from traditional makeup and begin developing different skills in character recreation. In this class, we will use rhinestones and glitter for our recreations. (You must bring your work tools, if you don't have them, consult with the instructor in charge).
